Took Gary Miralles of Shasta Tackle fishing Monday between the Eugene and Portland Sportsman Show. He had not caught a steelhead in 5 years. we were 4 for 5 in low clear conditions. One was native.

The rain and melting snow is going to blow things out but the rivers might be fishable by Saturday and all those fish that have been waiting low are going to move up and ready to bite. I'm excited.

I have opening if anyone wants to get in on the dropping water.
